Southern California · San Diego to Orange County

Clinical therapy, built for her.

Therapy.her is a women-led practice offering compassionate, evidence-based psychotherapy for women navigating anxiety, life transitions, trauma, and everything in between — including equine-assisted sessions for those who heal best outside the traditional office.

Our Story

A practice built by women, for women

Therapy.her was founded by Dr. Mojiana Mogadom, a licensed psychotherapist who saw a gap in Southern California's mental health landscape: women needed a space that understood the specific weight of their experiences — as caregivers, professionals, partners, and individuals rebuilding their sense of self.

Every clinician on our team is a woman, trained to hold space for the nuance of women's mental health with clinical rigor and genuine warmth. We're not just women-focused — we're women-led, from the therapy room to the front office.

  • Led by a licensed clinical psychotherapist with advanced training in trauma and women's mental health
  • 100% women clinicians
  • Serving clients across the corridor between San Diego and Orange County, plus telehealth statewide
How We Help

Therapy that meets you where you are

From the therapy couch to the arena, our modalities are chosen to fit your story — not the other way around.

Individual Therapy

One-on-one sessions tailored to your goals — anxiety, self-esteem, identity, and everyday overwhelm.

Life Transitions

Support through divorce, career change, motherhood, empty-nesting, and new chapters of every kind.

Trauma-Informed Care

Gentle, structured approaches to process past experiences at a pace that feels safe for your nervous system.

Anxiety & Stress

Evidence-based tools to quiet the noise and rebuild a sense of steadiness in daily life.

Women's Support Groups

Small, confidential group sessions where shared experience becomes a source of strength.

Our Signature Modality

Equine-assisted therapy, out of the office and into the field

Some of the deepest healing doesn't happen sitting across from a therapist — it happens standing beside a horse. Our equine-assisted sessions pair traditional clinical technique with the grounding, honest presence of horses, held at partner ranches across our San Diego–Orange County service area.

  • No riding or prior horse experience required — sessions are ground-based and fully guided
  • Especially effective for trauma, anxiety, and difficulty regulating emotion
  • Facilitated by our licensed clinicians alongside certified equine specialists
  • Offered as standalone sessions or woven into an ongoing individual therapy plan
